They used to offer free-range chicken thighs option, but it is no longer available. The service crew explained that, due to low demand, they are no longer serving it.
If one is opt for the chicken thigh meat, they will recommend the “mix” option which includes the chicken upper thigh, breast, and wing.
For those who loves chicken innards, they can add mixed innards for an extra charge. I enjoy their fragrant rice—one bowl just isn’t enough!
Their fragrant rice have a subtle hint of lemongrass flavour and serve alongside with soup of the day, chicken soup cooked with winter melon and big onions.
The mixed chicken is served with a limited portion of their house-made ginger and chili condiments, pickled cucumber, and chopped coriander on the side.
The place fills up with regular patrons starting around 10:45 a.m. and stays busy until they sell out. It can get quite warm, which makes one uncomfortable.
Kthxbye.
