🐔 Same Spot, Farm Raised Chicken, Loyalty Unchanged 🍚

This renowned chicken rice eatery selling only farm-raised chicken these days due to the unavailability of free-range chicken since Chinese New Year, anyhow it continues to draw in its loyal patrons daily.
I opted for the upper thigh portion, and while the texture of the meat was noticeably different—less firm and slightly less flavourful compared to the free-range chicken, it was still a satisfying meal, after all.
The soup, too, lacked the depth of flavour that free-range chicken typically imparts. However, the eatery’s consistency in preparation and the comforting familiarity of their signature dishes keep customers coming back.
While the farm-raised chicken may not quite match up to the free-range standard, the overall experience remains enjoyable, proving that this spot is still a reliable go-to for a comforting plate of chicken rice and soup.
Kthxbye.
