I returned after 2 years hiatus, I was pleased to discover that they had awarded Michelin star for 2023 & 2024.
The place was bustling with locals & tourists. I brought Mr Hubby to try for the first time.
Our orders included Nyonya Asam Laksa, various kuehs, iced cham, & lemongrass ginger hot drink.
However, some of the kuihs were greasy, especially the purple kuih bingka was excessively sweet & heavily colored.
The overall taste was average, kuehs were small portion. The rempah udang was notably the tiniest I've ever ate.
They are offering their various batik-printed tiffin for only MYR 70, making it a thoughtful gift choice.
Nonetheless, I admired the ambiance of the place, reminiscent of a Nyonya museum, with limited tables & seats.
The service staff were polite & helpful. The place is hygienic. They accept cash & e-wallets for payment.
Kthxbye.
