👻 Ghost's Drool 鬼口水 🤤
A quaint Chinese café has popped up near Bundusan area, blending nostalgia vibes with it's antique decoration and a menu that echoes local flavours.
While they only offer two main dishes—Ngiu Chap (soup and dry mix options) and Penang Asam Laksa. Somehow, only the Penang Laksa is available that day.
We ordered...
Penang asam laksa
Pistachio (鬼口水)
Double layer steamed milk custard(双皮奶)
The real charm lies in their desserts, particularly the double-layer steamed milk custard, which stands out for its smooth texture and refreshing taste.
According to the Mrs Owner, the desserts soups are light, milky, and refreshing, with all the ingredients personally blended and cooked by her.
Unfortunately, few desserts were taken off the menu due to low demand, but the café seems to be evolving and continuously refining its offerings.
They’ve changed the Laksa 'lai fun' noodles to a thinner version, nonetheless the soup remains rich and flavourful without being overly seasoned.
Uniquely, it was served with a side of rojak sauce, adding an unexpected twist. The café is air-conditioned and cozy, they accept cash and bank QR only.
Kthxbye.
