This traditional claypot chicken rice is a long-standing favorite in Ipoh. It attracts many local diners, especially during dinners on weekend.
I was opting for their renowned signature claypot dish with an added of sunny-side-up egg. The rice was slightly moist but it was thoroughly cooked.
The savoury flavour, enhanced by dark soy sauce, sliced chinese sausage (lap cheong) & a hint of salted fish, was a tad too salty for my taste.
However, the succulent chicken thigh proved satisfactory, although I was encountered an unpleasant surprise when the bone residue pricked my gums.
Alongside the main dish, they offer other menu like watercress soup & stir-fried flat rice noodles. They accept cash for payments.
Kthxbye.
