🍜 Kampua Comfort With Stuffed Veggies 🍆

This small neighborhood stall has begun serving Tanjung Aru economic noodles and stuffed vegetables since early December, and it already draws a steady morning crowd.

I was immediately drawn to the stuffed aubergine, deep-purple skin, slick with oil, and packed tightly with pork filling. It delivers smoke taste in one decisive bite.

We also ordered a bowl of wontons in a light broth touched with red-wine aroma and shallot oil. Unfortunately, the wontons were overcooked.

The dry-mix kampua noodles arrived with Foo Chow–style BBQ pork together with greasy minced meat, and shallot oil and fried bits gave fragrance.

Convenience remains its biggest hook — it sits close to our housing area, crowds begin around 7am, and parking turns into the usual urban chess match.

Kthxbye.

🍜 red kampua ❤️

Their highlights & special menu is they've white, black & red colour sauce.

The red yeast sauce or known as 'ang chao' is available only on Friday & Saturday.

It is chinese fermented red yeast rice, usually cooked with pork belly.

Noodle portion given was generous with slices of barbeque pork.

Therefore, I always add on side; pork wontons, so I feel full.

They sell steamed buns, dim sum, drinks & there's other stall selling economic noodles.

They accept cash only for payments. Limited parking space.

Checkout my ig:_humanburrito.bki for pictures & videos.

Kampua mee

Okay the photo very bad but the food is 👍

I was hungry so I rushed to eat and forgot to take a proper picture 🤣

Nevertheless, I think the kolok mee has authentic Foochow taste and it's not greasy, which I often feel for other similar Sarawak style kolok mee.

Definitely will come again
