đ¶ïž When It Was Almost Perfect⊠đŠ
This is still my favourite place whenever Iâm craving for thin, crispy thosai with a cup of freshly brewed coffee and fresh milk while Mr Hubby always goes for their banana leaf rice because the unlimited rice refills and vegetables of the day make it a satisfying meal.
This round, I ordered a small fried cauliflower and prawn masala as side dishes. The fried cauliflower was freshly fried, crispy, and delicious from the very first bite. Unfortunately, the prawn masala took so long to arrive that I was almost finished with my thosai.
The prawns were average in size, and what disappointed me most was that they werenât deshelled or deveined like in their menu picture. While the masala gravy was flavourful and aromatic, it was noticeably salty and is definitely better paired with white rice or roti.
Another thing is the food quality control. This isnât the first time weâve come across curry gravy or the vegetables of the day tasting sour. Itâs shocked that the staff didnât notice before serving them, especially when customers can immediately taste.
Kthxbye.
