Besides the classic dry-mixed Sarawak noodles, they now offer a dry version with broad flat rice noodles—the same type used for their kueh chap, if I’m not mistaken.

Naturally, curiosity got the better of me, so I ordered mine with extra noodles and asked for the signature red sauce, paired with a comforting bowl of wonton soup.

The broad rice noodles had a pleasant chewy bite and soaked up the fragrant sauce well, while the wonton soup added a light, comforting balance to the meal.

The only downside was that the noodles became a little dry towards the end, so mixing in a spoonful or two of the soup helped bring everything back together.
