Announcement.
We regret to inform all our patrons and Sub-tenants of 1766 Food Court that the FOOD COURT will no longer be in operation with effect from 1st June 2023. We apologise for all the difficulties that this may cause.

In 2022, we signed a tenancy agreement with the Owner of the premises, Jasa Jugra Sdn. Bhd., to rent the Food Court and Market Stalls as a Main Tenant.

Despite our continuous effort since June 2022, until today, we have not been able to obtain the Occupation Certificate (OC) for the premises from the Owner.

Under the local authority by-laws, rules and regulations, the OC is required for any building to be occupied safely.

As the premises have not been approved by the Kota Kinabalu City Hall and no OC has been issued, we could not advertise or promote 1766 Food Court as a tourist destination or even for local visitors, due to safety concerns, unless and until, the OC has been obtained.

We understand that our Sub-tenants may have faced many challenges to sustain your business operations. We would like to emphasise that this process of obtaining the OC is not within our control as the Main Tenant.

We have observed that there have been many negative comments circling around on social media regarding 1766 Food Court. We understand that the posters/commenters may have an ulterior motive in making such baseless and unintelligent comments, as they did not obtain the actual facts before posting. We reserve our rights to commence any action against such individuals who continue to make such comments/posting.

We would like to assure you that we are actively making arrangements to relocate 1766 Food Court and Night Bazaar to a safe location.

Thai Bar-B-Q Mookata & Taiwanese Hotpot 1766 is widely promoted & viral in the Facebook lately.

'Moo' means pork, 'kata' means skillet, which one can enjoy bbq also hotpot at the same time (2 in 1 hotpot).

It is buffet style with open air environment. One can indulge more than 50 types of ingredients & free flow drinks of the day.

From different flavours of marinated meats, pork & beef slices shabu-shabu, fresh vegetables, mushrooms, seafood, noodles, ice cream, stuffed veggies, smoked duck, dim sum, DIY ABC, eggette, etc.

Also, 13 types of soup base to choose from; vegetable, korea spicy, clam, Japanese curry, kimchi, herbs, cheese, miso, mala spicy, tom yum, bbq sauce, etc. Extra charge if one wants to add on pot.

There's special price if you dine in from 4pm-6pm, one person only allow 120 minutes to feast. Minimum 2 pax.

It's definitely one of a kind hotpot station that they even provide pork lard for bbq!

I've been there twice in this month with my friends & family. All of us love & enjoyed to the fullest. Equipments are hygienic.

Service crews are polite & helpful whenever one needs to clear plates, add soup or request charcoal.

My dad finally went to check out that place that was once flooded with people 🥸

Now slowly got people again lah but still quite dead , but everyone deserves a 2nd , 3rd , 4th infinity chances 🙏

Overall it was mid , many parking space lah , the choices not much many similar .
For the price harh still can lah with sabah being the highest 物价 and inflation and stuff.

We like the bun ，it's actually a giant curry bun 😋, it's rm 25 or rm 28 , the curry was full of chicken not just sauce , and not bone chicken BUT THICK MEAT CHICKEN . But was kinda sad that the bottom of the bun was hollow :(

Others were okay lah but I think more stalls are coming back soon so def will go back try try 💅🏻

Kolombong 1766夜市有一个档口卖臭豆腐的叫做“天下臭豆腐”。相信吃过臭豆腐的顾客不是超爱就是超恨，毕竟不是每个人都接受臭臭的食物。我是喜欢臭豆腐的😄

这个臭豆腐对我来说还好而已，不算是很好吃也不算难吃。也许还是喜欢台湾的臭豆腐。

酱汁
- 味道很像有一点不平衡，不知道是什么，但是就感觉缺了一个味道。

腌泡菜
- 这个算是不错吃。但是对我来说吃多了到最后会感觉太酸。如果减低一点酸度会来的更好，尤其是对于有胃酸问题的顾客会比较好入口。味道也是感覺和台灣比起來有一定的差距，也不知道缺了什么味道😅

豆腐
- 豆腐的外皮不够脆，偏韧。里面不够空洞，口感来的比较扎实。所以酱汁的味道会比较难被吸入进豆腐里，感觉融入不到一起。味道也不够臭，也许商家是为了让讨厌臭豆腐的顾客也能够接受吧。但是对于爱臭豆腐的顾客来说，可能会有点失望。毕竟味道偏淡，也没什么臭味。

如果你是讨厌臭豆腐的，建议可以试一试看看自己能不能尝试接受以及欣赏它的魅力。如果你是很爱臭豆腐的，期望别太高哟……不然会更加失望。环境有待加强，但是也有点难。开放的空间和地点难免会看到有苍蝇围绕着档口。如果商家能够带着口罩对我来说会更好，我想强调这是我个人的看法呀。毕竟疫情的关系，大家还是别掉以轻心。另一方面能够让更多顾客安心。如果问我还会不会再回购，也许不会了。不是难吃，但是没有亮点吸引我再回购。价钱是一碗十块钱，可选辣或不辣。这个是现点现炸，所以需要一点耐心等待。如果你赶时间，不建议你买。

The crazy chef 的 Tortilla Mexican 好吃 。。 🌯 馅料是猪 🐖肉和牛🐄肉包在一起薯条🍟也是大大条的哦 ！

小龙女的槟城炒粿条炒的够味不会油油 ， 料有虾 🍤，siham和腊肠 。。

臭豆腐不会很臭 ，但是 yap 到的包菜不错

Q-ball 摊位的甜品可以 。。 不会很甜

除了吃还有一些娱乐活动可以试下玩。。 其中一个吸引我的是捞金鱼 。。 考考你耐心 。。
