I've read about this legendary & classic freshly Asian pastries store that baked daily. The coffee shop is crowded with regular customers always regardless any hours.

Due to I reached there early, hence the staff told me their UFO tart will be available after 11am. So, I sat there wait & ordered some pastries to try while waiting for the freshly baked UFO tart.

The lady owner is friendly & attentive to me, she allows me to take pictures & videos in their kitchen. Their kitchen is open bakery behind the coffee shop, and so busy all the time baking pastries.

I'm honoured & enjoyed to watch how the owner's husband making the thin crust egg tart & UFO tarts. Meanwhile, I tried some of their pastries, red bean, thin crust egg tart & century egg with pickled garlic.

I like the red bean and the thin crust egg tart custard weren't overwhelmingly sweet. Anyhow, the century egg with pickled ginger is another level. Savoury yet satisfying.

Sweetness from the bean paste mix with the saltiness of century egg & slightly spiciness from the pickled ginger. The staff told me it is one of their signature & customer's favourite.

Last but not least, the lady informed me when the UFO freshly bake out from the oven, I ordered 1 directly. I love the superb crispy base cake & sweet meringue custard top. I even bought 1 back to hotel.

Don't judge the book by it's cover. Alrthough it doesn't have the most attractive outlook & looks messy, yet it has the most delectable satisfied taste & made by the most experience baker owner.
