Visited The Top Komtar and tried the New Window attractions (Rainbow Skywalk + Observatory Deck + Skybridge) — overall, a really enjoyable experience! The view of Penang from the top is absolutely stunning, especially if you go on a clear day. You get a beautiful 360° perspective of the city and coastline, and it’s definitely one of the best spots to appreciate Penang from above.
The only downside was at the Rainbow Skywalk, where the official photographer didn’t allow photos using my phone and required us to use their camera instead, which meant needing to purchase the photos afterward. It would have been nice to have the option to take our own pictures.
That said, the experience and scenery were still worth it, and I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Penang for the first time!
