Spaghetti love

I forgot what is this spaghetti's name but pretty decent, not too amazing but above average indeed, sauce is potent enough for my liking

Starbucks vibes & Mongolian Chicken?! ☕🍗✨

Walked into Oak Street Cafe in Luyang and the first thing that hits you is that amazing coffee aroma—totally giving me Starbucks vibes! It’s such a chill spot to just decompress and hang out with friends. ☁️

I tried the Mongolian Chicken Karaage and the sauce is incredibly rich and savory, paired with a perfect fried egg. Just a heads-up for my fellow "non-spicy" eaters: it actually has a bit of a kick to it! 🌶️ Even though I don't usually do spicy food, the flavor was still really good.

Honestly, the combination of the cozy environment and good food makes it a solid place for a catch-up session. Just have a cold drink ready if you’re sensitive to spice like me! 🙌

Nice Butter Chicken for the Price

The taste of the butter chicken is great, but the amount of pepper is a bit too much for me personally. I like the subtle spiciness with small chillies though. And for this price the food is quite filling.
The environment and service is good for me.
Overall, it's a good place to visit once in a while.

Appetising Breakfast

Ordered a caramel latte, and a daily breakfast.

Daily breakfast served with sourdough, omelette, baked beans and sausage. Sourdough is nicely made.

Caramel latte has a nice aroma, however the coffee taste might be slightly too strong for me.

Lunch at oakstreet

The buttermilk chicken karaage at Oakstreet is very nice. The pieces are golden and crispy. The coating feels light and crunchy. The buttermilk makes the chicken soft and juicy. Each bite has a gentle tang. The flavor is tasty but not too strong. The seasoning is balanced. The chicken stays tender inside. It is easy to enjoy this dish. It works well as a snack. It also works well with a full meal. The portion is just right. The texture is very satisfying. It is a dish worth trying. I would order it again. It is delicious and enjoyable.
