HALO PULIS GOT LALAT đ€ą

The saying goes "The higher the expectations, the bigger the disappointments" came true yesterday đ
So, my sister and I have been planning and anticipating to go try out this so called "very established Korean restaurant that serves Korean authentic cuisine" about 2 weeks ago. And we finally went there yesterday 11:30am as they opened (shown in Google), we got there and called for someone to attend to us, no one responded for about 5 minutes, we could just walked around like it's our own house, ćŸćäžèŠćŒéšćçæ đ K, then finally got 1 staff attended to us. The whole place is a semi-open air restaurant, got aircon and fans, the staff didn't even bother to switch them on, my sister had to switch on the stand fan by herself đ Lots of mosquitoes and flies flying around
When it was time to order, we asked the staff to give us some recommendations on what dishes to order. éźäșçäșæČĄéź đ K, ordered a few dishes and before you read down below, YES I know pictures in menu are for illustration purposes only, but the deception tho
We ordered:
Banchan (RM20)
- Menu pictures got squid, but came out just kimchi, vege, fish cakes and anchovies đ
Bibimbap (RM29)
- We ordered Regular (RM26), but they gave us Stone Pot (RM29) đ Taste so-so, at least not spicy
Kimchi Pancake (RM32)
- Not enough batter, stick on the pan. This doesn't even look similar to the picture in menu đ I only had 1 slice, cuz it's a NO for me
Galbi-jjim (RM42)
- The beef short ribs very soft and tender, the only good dish, but the portion so small, got 4 short ribs, but 2 got meat, 2 just bone đ„Čđ Y'all can do your math on how "worthy" this dish is đ
As we ate, the more itchy we got đ„Č Before we finished our meal, my sister saw got a deadass fly between the anchovies and kimchi pancake she just put in her plate đ My sister didn't want to make it a big deal initially, but I told my sister to show to the staff later when we make payment, at least let her know we're not okay with the lack of hygiene. When we made our payment, my sister pointed out the fly said it's not clean, the staff just acted like she didn't see anything and just waited for us to pay đ The receipt shown to us got 10% service charges (RM12.30). Halo, what service besides the tea!? đ
Overall, I won't go back to this place. Konon established for 30 years, konon authentic Korean cuisine, well it sure as heck is very authentic... authentically bad, not even the beef short ribs can compensate my sister and I's experience in this meal
