Thai restaurant in Jesselton Mall

We ordered:
Pandan chicken (best I ever tasted)
Clear Tom yam seafood soup (many choice of seafood but no fish)
Papaya salad (too salty according to my sis)
Strawberry smoothie (beautiful and taste good)
Mango passion tea (not worth the price)

Might visit again for the pandan chicken and other dishes.

White Tom Yang Soup

Guys, please order their Thai white seafood Tom Yang Soup!! Their Tom Yum Soup is an authentic Thai Tom Yum Soup, and it tastes just like what I had in Thailand. If you don’t have much of an appetite, you should still give it a try because it will make you want to keep drinking bowl after bowl.

I ordered their small bowl, which can be shared into four servings. They include a generous amount of seafood—prawns, squid, green mussels, tomatoes, and some aromatic herbs. The small bowl is priced at RM 28, and personally, I think it’s worth it.

Feeling Thai? 🇹🇭

For those who just came back from Thailand and you’re missing the spice of Thai, this will be definitely be your spot to comfort your taste buds!

Menu of the day:-
1. Tom Yam Prawn Soup
2. Salad
3. Pineapple Fried Rice
4. Green Beef Curry
5. Pandan Chicken

Their Tom Yam soup and Pandan Chicken is by far my most favorite 🥰some may say the soup is not spicy enough and some may say the soup is too spicy! The Pandan Chicken is so greatly fried and the juiciness just pops out of mind. Don’t expect crazy large portion!

Try this at your own risk! It’s a little average for me but more than enough to comfort my satisfaction for Thai Food. Price wise, it leans towards more to the pricy side.

Heartache, Jesselton Mall

Heard there was a newly open Thai restaurant in Jesselton Mall, went there for a try with friend. This is considered one of the WORST decision I have made this year 🤣

First, food serving is SLOW. The restaurant was not full house during our visit, just 50% occupied. Ordered three dishes, waited almost 1 hour for the first 2 dishes, like French cuisine, you need to finish one, and wait for another one to serve…20-30 mins gap for each dish. At last we cancelled our last dish…

Second, the TASTE and PORTION
1) Green Curry Beef with rice (RM48)
The curry tasted okay, nothing fascinating, but the beef omg, tasted like it had been cooked for 24 hours, so tough. And the portion is very small.

2) Salted Egg Squid (RM38)
Do not be fooled by the menu picture, strictly for illustration purpose, the portion is SMALL, VERY VERY SMALL (when I showed my friends the photo, they thought I took picture after I ate some of it 🙂 NOPE, this is exactly how it look like when it’s served). The squid tasted hard and chewy, clearly overcooked.

3) Lime Honey Iced Tea (RM7)
Forgive me, it tasted like Lipton Tea…

Third, the PRICE. Wow, after a 10% service charge, it cost me RM103.40. I don’t mind paying high price for the food, but we only got 30% full after these two dishes, it’s a bit ridiculous…

Went to another restaurant afterwards to settle our dinner, too hungry.

BYE, AND NO NEXT TIME 😘
