Keep calm & 'CURRY' on... 🥘

Kohinoor is my favourite north indian cuisine. I brought my friends & family before & all of them love it!

They've updated their menu with new adds on. Here's what me & my friends ordered:

1. Pani puri shots
4 deep fried dough balls with minced & mixed veggies served on 4 mini shots glass with masala water.
Masala water is slightly spicy & sour, however the dough balls are smelly & heavy taste of rancid oil.
My best guess, the chef has been frying with the same oil.

2. Vegetable Briyani
I love all types of Kohinoor's Briyani because simply it's not dry.
Also, it served with lassi (yoghurt) sauce as condiment with the Briyani. YYDS.

3. Chicken Palak (creamy spinach curry with boneless chicken breast)
Do not disgusted by it's deep green color as this is the best dish.
I've been ordered this every time I'm here, even my bestie is agree.
Tender chicken meat with creamy, flavoursome & somewhat spicy gravy makes you want to add rice.
I ate with Chapati as well! Yum!

4. Mutton Korma
I usually order chicken, but this is the first time I tried lamb.
Yet, it's no dissapoint, still.
Korma means braised, it's mild sweet curry with nutty taste because it's blended with cashew nuts & yoghurt or coconut milk.

5. Goan fish curry
Goan is a state in India, & their staple curry is semi spicy & tangy coconut milk curry with fish.
They were using tuna to cook with the curry. Tuna was bit hard & dried, seems like it has been put in the fridge for quite some times.

5. Chapati with mixed garlic & cheese
No much of garlic nor cheese flavour, anyhow it's best eating with curry & meat as it's match so well.

6. Lassi
They've upgraded their lassi drinks to varities.
My friend ordered sweet lassi (play safe), she likes it.
I ordered cumin lassi, it taste sweet & salty. It's like I'm drinking yoghurt with salty plum. Pleasing & satisfying.

There's difference between North (milk & meat) & South (spices & spicy) Indian cuisine. I love both!
