Yet, the experience took a downward turn the moment the service crew informed me that they did not have fish available that day. Totally absurd.

My anticipation dipped sharply, and the excitement I carried in with me began to thin. When the dish finally arrived, my expectations fell straight to the floor.

The bowl held only two fish-paste balls, two small shrimps, vegetables that were already turning yellow, and a very small portion of flat rice noodles.

It looked tired before it was even tasted. Even Mr Hubby lost his appetite and refused to order, and the table behind us struggled to finish their meal as well.

For something marketed as their signature, this meal felt careless, underwhelming, and hollow. A signature dish that revealed inconsistency and erosion of trust.
