Kah Hiong Fish Noodle 家乡鱼什

There are some places that deserve a special place in the heart, and this little spot is one of them.

Every visit feels like a taste of home – their housemade soy-braised minced chicken with onions over rice and topped with crispy fried egg is pure comfort in a bowl.

Also, I paired with a bowl of spicy wonton soup, always, it’s the kind of simple homely food that soothes the soul and exhausting body after working for a long weeks.

What I love even more is how affordable everything is – no guilt for both the stomach and the wallet. They’re just a tap away on GrabFood - 劉一口 Leave A Bite

Everything is served pork-free. One of my favourite go-to spots when I need that nostalgic, homely touch.

Kthxbye.

This was my second visit since they relocated, and I just found out they now serve a no-pork menu. I didn’t realize it until the owner—who’s also the chef—personally told me that the current menu focuses solely on chicken.

He’s clearly put a lot of effort into perfecting the taste and texture through hands-on experience, and I must say, it’s impressively close to what I remembered from his previous menu with pork dishes. Truly blew my mind.

They’ve also introduced sugar cane drinks with various flavours. I tried the pandan and passion fruit options—both had a strong sugar cane profile, not overwhelmingly sweet and were so refreshing especially after meal.

As always, my favourite is the minced meat rice topped with a sunny side up egg (but this time was overcooked, no oozy egg yolk but crispy end). Mr. Hubby is big fan of their signature spicy mixed flat noodle.

Kthxbye.

Fish noodles sup near kendara. Saw this food review perviously by some "food blogger" so give it a try.

Ordered
Tomato Meehoon sup fresh fish sliced rm12
Asam pedas Meehoon sup fried fish sliced rm12
Teh c ping rm3

Fish is fresh does not bau hanyir, tomato sup is lack of flavor, BUT asam pedas is really pedas 🥵 (the chili padi kind of pedas) but the sup is clear sup 🤣 the sambal taste very good though (self service u can take as many as u like yang penting don't waste la)

Service was bad, they not cleaning the table and food is ready but crew still eating 🙃🙃

Will I come back?
Maybe yes for the sambal 🤤

Love their asam pedas soup. Jz their fish a bit too rough though had been order belly part
Btw they do offer goreng mee or rice as well

New place for fish lover!

I ordered fresh fish fillets with tomato soup base add on with milk & fresh fish fillets with asam pedas soup base.

Fish fillets are fresh & delicious, soup aren't heavy with seasoning, just light taste. We all love & enjoyed it!

The only concern is they don't have fixed price listed on some of the foods, some price based on the seasonal fish catch.

The restaurant is wooden house built, they're located at the 1st floor. With open air environment with ceiling fans.

They've this homemade sweet sambal to match with the fish noodles. It was alright to me but I couldn't stop eating it. Haha.

They accept cash & e-wallets for payments. Limited table & seats. Orders are make at the counter.
