Satay Jawa + Roti: Sweet, Smoky and Seriously Addictive š¢š
Okay, real talk: I came for the satay, but I left thinking about the bread. š
First, the satay Jawa. The chicken ones are sweet, sticky and glossy red, with that slightly burnt edge we all secretly love, and the meat stays juicy inside. The beef ones taste deeper and more savoury, really well marinated, with a nice chew and proper char. Eat one chicken, one beef, one chicken, one beef... before you know it, the plate is gone and you're waving at the uncle for another round. š¤«
Then the roti. Soft, fluffy, cut into fat cubes, the edges a bit toasty. Dip it into the sauce, let it soak a few seconds, then put it in your mouth. Wah, don't play play. š¤¤
No fancy plating, no air-cond vibes, just a solid kopitiam-style feed that hits the spot every time.

Sweet chicken + smoky beef, big pieces š
ā
Bread for dipping (must order!)

Easy to share, but you won't want to š¤Ŗ

First time heard this satay, will try!
