I first knew this 'warung' through GrabFood app. Subsequently, I decided to visit in person, this marks my second visit.
'Warung' is an Indonesian term that refers to an outdoor food stall that serve street foods or comfort meals.
We ordered:
'Ikan baulu' (milk fish) set rice served with deep fried eggplant, tempeh & cucumber slices with housemade sambal chilli
the fish is overcooked resulting tough texture hence hard to chew, also it carries a subtle burnt taste
nasi goreng pataya
mr boyfriend likes it as it has potent of stir-dry aroma (wok hei)
sup daging with added on cripsy chicken skin
the soup just ordinary, but the chicken skin added an execeptional texture.
They accept cash & e-wallets for payments. Business thrives in the evening & ample parking available.
Kthxbye.
