Curry House, 88 Market Place
Went there for friend’s birthday celebration in November 2021:
1) Curry Fish Head / Tail / Whole Fish
- Remember the famous “RM1.2K Siakap Fish” news happened in Langkawi? I playfully asked them was there any Siakap sold in the restaurant, 吓到人家连连摆手讲没有🤣 Curry Fish Head was one of their signature dish, but I do hope the sauce could be thicker.
2) Golden Crispy Fried Chicken Thigh
- Crispy outside yet tender and juicy inside, finger-licking good.
3) Thai-style Steamed Squid with Garlic & Lime Sauce
- The squid was a bit small that day but still undeniably delicious, we ordered one more set as it was wayyy not enough for us.
4) Salted Egg Bitter Gourd
- Nice to eat as it was neither too sweet nor salty (I find it kinda weird when some restaurant put too much sugar on it). Crispy 👍🏻
5) Lamb Chop with Special Sauce - Couldn’t remember the taste but still nice to eat from what I recalled.
Together with 3 drinks and 4 bowl of rice, it cost us RM155.50 that night.
Personally think that the portion was bit smaller compared to other Chinese restaurant.
Fully aircond but place could be cramped if it’s full house.
