Bataras Kolombong Food Court

This China Muslim roti spot is pure hype with caveats, and about 80% of the mixed Google reviews are spot-on. And, I want to experience myself.

It’s tucked inside Bing Chun milk tea shop, with an open setup where customer can watch the dough being stretched and heading into the kitchen to pan fried.

While I was filming, there were flies hovering and the chefs were visibly sweating over the dough. That combo made me uneasy but also weirdly more curious.

Once done, the roti gets tossed into a simple paper bag. No cover, no frills, no protection. The cashier had a bit of an attitude, but it’s okay, I’ve dealt with worse type.

They offer 3 options: lamb, beef, and chicken. I went straight for lamb and beef. Fresh and hot, super crispy on the outside, and this things slap!

The lamb was the clear winner—strong, gamey aroma and flavourful. If you’re lamb lover, you’ll get it. Beef was fine, but forgettable in comparison.

Mr Hubby bought again after 2 weeks, and I reheated in the microwave for breakfast. Still tasty, just less crispy, which is expected. The flavour holds up, so that’s a win.

Hello beautiful people , amys here to let you know my favourite place to eat Halal Chinese Food at Kota Kinabalu, Sabah . I student dekat sini so ofclaa i akan share a lot of food yang i dah try dekat Sabah , yang sememangnya banyak kedai non-halal.

Kedai yang i pergi ni kecik sangat, korang just Waze Bataras Kolombong . Naik escalator dekat foodcourt ada banyak stall but this one paling menarik . For me , the food price standard and still affortable for student .

My fav adalah soup ramen beef which is kalau dalam Melayu ofclaa Mee Tarik Daging . I lurve sangat tekstur dia yang tak kenyal and senang nak kunyah dan makan . Soup dia sangat beraroma and sangat sedaplaa sumpah , better than yang dekat Pasar Seni . For the daging saiz dia agak besar but senang nak kunyah ! Veggie dia pulak fresh ye , tade hitam, tade ulat .

Fried Chicken Dumpling sumpah sedap ! I memang bagi 100/100 for this one ! Dahlaa isi penuh and kulit dumpling pun taktebal sangat . Yang paling penting , order dulu baru dia buat , sebab tu sangat fresh . Korang mesti cuba tau !

Untuk BBQ Chicken Rice pulak sesuai untuk orang yang suka makan lauk manis gitu. For me sedap but rasa ayam tu manis HAHAHAHA . Tapi korang kena cuba nasi goreng BBQ chicken , yang tu sangat sedap .

Banyak lagi kedai yang i pergi dengan harga berbaloi and sedap ! If korang nak lagi recommendation , komen jenis makanan macam mana korang suka .
