The Magellan Sutera Resort

I recently stayed at The Magellan Sutera Resort for 4 days and 3 nights due to a family emergency, and overall it was a very pleasant stay.

For the price paid, the room and service were very good. The staff were welcoming and helpful throughout the stay, which made a stressful trip a bit easier. I also really appreciated the welcome drinks on arrival—a small touch, but it sets a nice tone when you first check in.

One highlight was definitely the breakfast. The selection is great and rotates daily, so even staying a few days you don’t feel like you’re eating the same thing every morning. There were plenty of options to choose from, which made starting the day enjoyable.

The only downside during the stay was the WiFi. The connection itself can be okay once you’re in, but the login process isn’t very user-friendly. The login page sometimes takes quite a while to load, and there were moments when the connection would disconnect and require logging in again. Improving this would really enhance the guest experience.

Overall, it was a comfortable stay with good value, friendly service, and excellent breakfast options. With a smoother WiFi system, it would easily be a full 5-star experience.
