I went for a shorter almond shape this time, paired with the trending blush aesthetic and a delicate chrome tip. No intricate drawings, no overcomplication.

The process felt almost fleeting compared to my usual sessions, but what emerged was anything but simple. The finish was breathtaking.

Think glass-like translucency catching the light at every angle, kissed with a champagne gold chrome that whispers luxury rather than shouting it.

At the center, a soft blush bloom diffuses seamlessly into a white cat-eye effect, creating depth and dimension that feels almost ethereal. It’s clean. It’s elegant.

It’s the kind of design that doesn’t demand attention—but effortlessly commands it. Proof that sometimes, refinement is about knowing exactly when to stop.

Post-CNY manicure, but I requested Grace to make it legendary inspired from Black Myth: Wukong 2024 RPG. It feels personal as a Monkey zodiac fan who grew up on the 1996 classic starring Dicky Cheung.

The elongated stilettos shape sharpens the entire aesthetic, while the smoky nude base with burnt-ink marbling gives it that ancient scroll, mythic battlefield energy instead of basic black.

Grace hand-painted the Black Myth Wukong’s half-face with striking gold detailing that shifts under light, plus clean 3D sculpted elements of the iconic golden hoop headband and the Ruyi staff.

The subtle green hulu accents paired with soft cloud illustrations softens the intensity — bringing in celestial vibes like mist swirling in heaven. It’s contrast done right: power and serenity coexisting.

I sat for hours, steady and patient, and it was completely worth it. Sets like this aren’t rushed — they’re built. Bold, dimensional, myth-laden. This manicure that makes people stop and stare to admire the details.

It’s my monthly manicure time again, also pre-CNY glow-up ritual. This time, I walked into Grace’s chair with a concept - Disney villain era, but make it art.

My inspiration? The poisoned apple from Snow White and Ursula’s octopus tentacles from The Little Mermaid — dramatic, dangerous, and deliciously iconic.

Funny thing is I didn’t even realize I was going full “大紅大紫” until Grace said it out. Most of my customers are obsessed with the red apple melting skull design.

Anyway, I’m emotionally attached to the Ursula octopus leg nail with its vividly dark purple aura. It feels more dimensional and powerful.

Grace built it from scratch, and the suction cups are so detailed and vividly insane. I even asked her to go darker and moodier with the shading so it looks more surreal.

And the rest of the set? A fiery cat-eye effect with dark, pointy drama that screams “don’t test me!” Sharp. Bold. Luxurious. Like a warning sign, but gorgeous.

After my previous black-and-gold manicure, I decided I wanted something colourful this round—pastel base, deep-tone lines, a little dreamy and playful.

When I told Grace, she laughed and said my design looked like Faber-Castell colour pencils. I didn’t even think of that, but the nostalgia moment hit.

Suddenly my nails reminded me of those childhood pencil cases filled with neatly sharpened colours, waiting for colouring. It felt unexpectedly reminiscent.

The session was shorter this time—Grace just gets it right away, as always. And the shop? Dressed in Christmas vibes, every corner meticulously decorated.

It felt like stepping into a cozy holiday memory where everything is soft, glowing, and warm welcoming. Another visit, another set I’m obsessed with.

This round, I went for something sleek and chic — shorter pointy nails with a new twist on the classics: French cat eye design. Simple, elegant, yet totally mesmerizing.

As always, Grace nailed it. Plus, she has got a new AI-powered toy for drying the gel — no heat, no pain, no burning sensation, just pure comfort.

I chose a black and gold cat eye combo, and it looks stunning — especially next to my new gold ring. I can’t stop staring at my hands right now!
