Been wanting to try the legendary authentic Sandakan 弹弓面 in the longest time. You know this place is legit when I have two (2) local friends highly recommended this place. 🤩

My husband and I decided to skip hotel breakfast for this. Their 弹弓面 really is “boink boink” with the flavourful sauce. 🤩 We decided to try different “liao” for our noodles. Both are really good. I had 排骨弹弓面 & he had 皮蛋饺炸肉弹弓面 😌

The 排骨 is really flavourful, tasty & juicy. Their 皮蛋饺 surprised us. 😍 The ones that we normally had at KK is just depressing with some minced pork & a bit of prawn & a bit of century egg. 🥲 But wow this 皮蛋饺 here, you get everything so packed inside wrapped up beautifully. 🥺🥺🥺

Environment wise is just a normal Chinese kopitiam with attentive staff. They do sell other breakfast like buns, kuih, bak zhang etc. Will come back again for sure! 🤩
