Cafes to visit in KL | Jamboo KL

📍Address: 19G, Jalan Tun H S Lee, City Centre, 50000 Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

In my recent trip to KL, we visited this “Hole in the wall” cafe in the city centre! I was especially keen to try their Jamboo Cha (made using guava, matcha & fresh milk), as it sounded refreshing & special.

Lo & behold, was it good! I really loved how creamy the guava had merged with the matcha & milk to form this juicy goodness. My friends tried their honey oat latte too which was good but nothing out of the ordinary. They also sell several other food items on the menu but we didn’t try, you can check it out on their IG page @jamboostory

Do note that they accept credit card / Youtrip payments for non-Malaysians, if not you can pay by cash too. ✨ Also, in the alleyway while you are waiting for your drink, you will notice a beautiful kaleidoscope of colours showering on you from the bottles on top of you! They are filled with coloured water of various colours.

Make sure you add this to your itinerary when you visit KL in the near future!

this cafe serves drinks thru a hole in the wall- 😎

saw this on tiktok a couple months back and thought this cafe had a cool concept of having their drinks served through a literal hole in the wall…the perfect concept for introvert baristas ya 😎

📍 jamboo, kl (just a 6min walk from central market)

what you have to do: pick the drink you like - > hand the tag over to the staff through the hole - > make payment - > collect drink when ready

we ordered their jamboo-cha (rm 17) which contains guava, fresh milk & matcha. it’s not bad although i’d say that the guava taste overpowers the matcha q a bit. apart from drinks, jamboo also offers a variety of mains — my personal FAV is their signature thunder rice bowl (rm 22) aka lei cha…wa i love this one! i’ve been eating thunder rice since young and i’d say theirs tastes rly similar to the one i have at home 😩 the good thing about their menu is that they allow customers to customise their lei cha bowls by picking whatever toppings you’d like~ they also offer lei cha butter croissants…we didn’t order that but i’m curious to know how that’d taste 🫣

would return for their lei cha again because i really enjoyed that and it’s not too expensive~ this is one of the cafes in kl w a cool concept for sure!
