Shocking Disrespect for Islamic Values by a Muslim Nurse at a Muslim Care Facility

LINK TO THE VIDEO: https://streamable.com/ra4j1x
It is extremely disappointing to witness this level of unprofessional and morally inappropriate behavior coming from a nurse employed at a Muslim private care home.

In a publicly shared WhatsApp Story, the staff member appears in medical uniform, inside what clearly looks like the facility, alongside another female colleague. The post includes the following romantic and suggestive captions:

“How can we go back to being friends?”
“When we just shared a bed?”

The post is further accompanied by emotional background music, strongly implying an intimate, possibly homosexual relationship. As Muslims, we all understand that homosexuality is strictly forbidden (haram) in Islam, and promoting it — especially from within a Muslim institution — is not only inappropriate, but deeply offensive.

To see such content created and published by a Muslim woman, on duty, in a Muslim care home, is unacceptable. It dishonors the values this facility claims to uphold and is a betrayal of the trust placed in its staff by families, patients, and the wider ummah.
In the attached WhatsApp Story, Hana is the woman at the bottom of the photo, wearing a light brown hijab and showing the peace sign with her fingers. She is the one who posted the story publicly under her account “Hana_”.
This is not an isolated incident — this same individual has already been documented secretly recording patients, sharing inappropriate messages, and disrespecting her profession.

As a concerned Muslim and a member of the public, I strongly urge the management of this institution to act immediately and uphold the integrity of Islamic principles in this place of care.

[UPDATE WITH VIDEO] Nurse Hana Secretly Films Elderly Patients at this private care home

LINK TO THE VIDEO: https://streamable.com/w19c55
I apologize for posting again, but the seriousness of this situation demands it. What is happening at this private care facility cannot be ignored.

An public Instagram Story by Nurse Hana — in which she secretly records part of her caregiving duties involving an elderly patient.

While the patient’s face is not visible, her bare feet are clearly shown, and she appears to be receiving care. This footage was shared publicly, which constitutes a disturbing violation of privacy.

The video is edited with background music and voiceover in Indonesian/Malay:

> "Aku harus kerja keras kerana aku bukan anak orang kaya."
“I have to work hard because I am not the child of a rich family.”

> "Orang yang seperti aku, kalau mahu hidup enak, dia harus kerja keras dulu."
“Someone like me — if they want to live well — must work hard first.”

> "Hidup enak kan tak boleh segera. Bahkan segera saja harus direbus dulu."
“You can't have an easy life immediately. Even instant noodles must be boiled first.”

> "Jadi aku harus banyak-banyak memuatkan diriku sendiri. Atau setidaknya, imi aku bisa hidup."
“So I must constantly push myself. At least, so that I can live.”

This is not only unethical, but potentially illegal, especially considering it took place in a private care home, where patients deserve the highest standards of dignity, respect, and confidentiality. Turning moments of care into personal social media content is absolutely unacceptable.

This must be taken seriously by the management and relevant authorities. Enough is enough.

Further Evidence of the Same Nurse's Misconduct

Following up on my previous comments regarding the conduct of one of the nurses at this facility — here is yet another example of her behavior that is completely inappropriate for someone in a caregiving role.

In an Instagram story posted publicly, the nurse used a face filter and added the following caption in Malay:

“kalau nk ditanyekan suke ke tak dengan pekerjaan sekarang, pasti tk tapi kene bersyukur dan kene jalani je sebab hidup butuh duet”

Translation:

“If asked whether I like my current job — definitely not, but I have to be grateful and just go on with it because life needs money.”

This only reinforces the serious concerns I’ve already raised. The message makes it painfully clear: this person has no real passion or commitment to her work, and views the job purely as a source of income. That’s a dangerous mindset in any profession — but in elder care or health care, it’s absolutely unacceptable.

When a nurse publicly admits that she doesn’t like her job but does it “because life needs money,” how can anyone trust that she’s treating patients with the compassion and dignity they deserve?

This is not just unprofessional — it’s deeply disrespectful to the people who depend on this facility for care. I hope the management takes this seriously and holds this nurse accountable for the standards they publicly demonstrate.

Recording of Elderly Patient Without Consent by Nurse

I was shocked to discover that a nurse working at this care home recorded herself while attending to an elderly patient – without the patient’s knowledge or consent. In the video, the patient's bare legs are clearly visible. The nurse posted this footage publicly on her Instagram story, with background music and playful filters, which trivialized the situation and showed a disturbing lack of respect for the patient’s dignity. This is a serious violation of patient privacy and raises questions about staff training and oversight. I urge management to address this issue transparently and to take steps to ensure this never happens again. Elderly residents deserve care, not exposure.
