Borenos Fried Chicken (Alamesra)

Love the aroma. Love the taste. But somehow they got restricted area around 10. The borenos in alam mesra is two storey. But they say we can not go upstairs because it's closed. But when I go upstairs, there was no renovation or soemthing, it was clean. So weird.

I ordered this around 10:30 pm. 30 minutes before the restaurant closed. So I get it warm. The aroma also filled my car. I think borenos win in term of aromatic smell compared to other restaurant, such as kfc, mcd etc.

Not only that, they are also big. I'm not sure if this is consistent across their branches. But I was having good meal. Taste is fine. Kfc and mcd taste better tho. This one is quite balanced.

Ordered the classic burger set—the fries were not bad, the burger reminded me of McD, but the coleslaw was a bit too sweet 🥹. I still prefer the coleslaw from Upperstar or KFC 😆. But I’ll definitely come back to try the whole chicken when I have the appetite! XD

Was in the mood for something fried today and borenos will always be the best choice for me. The chicken was crispy and finger lickin good as usual. Have upgraded my drinks to A&W and added 80sen.

Saw @Gabrielleb9abc @Trisha Anaver77127 's post tempted me to get their fried chicken.

For me their fried chicken and coleslaw are way better than KFC except for mashed potatoes which I think KFC got the better taste. Fried chicken was very tender and juicy on inside and crispy on outside. They only serve one flavor can't either pick ori or spicy. Prefer Asia city branch as their chicken is more flavorful.
