Totally understand why there's a line of people waiting for this ngiu chap. It has been consistently good for years ✨ The broth is so flavorful, and the meat is so tender! I also like that the service is very efficient, by letting those in line look through the menu and order before even sitting down. Would come back whenever I'm in town.

I used to really like El Centro back at their old location. This was my first visit since they moved to the Jalan Dewan location, and it was TERRIBLE!

1. The service was SNAIL PACE SLOW. Getting someone to even take our order was an ordeal i do not wish upon my worst enemy. And when we finally managed to order, we kept it simple by ordering only three dishes, and yet it took around almost an hour for us to get it. Saw the staff walking back and forth, seemingly for no reason. In the time we waited, we saw a table of people arrive, wait for someone to take their order but nobody did, so they left. All while we waited for our food.

2. FOOD QUALITY WAS NOT WORTH THE PRICE.
The cheese used was cheap and rubbery, the sandwich was cold and hard (i waited for almost an hour, least you could do is make sure the food is fresh) and the pizza was underwhelming. And it wasn't cheap!
