Ending the first day of the new year with some quality time and food with my family. Really recommend this place as their food quality is good.

Still my favourite place for Italian cuisine

Saw this place when I'm out hunting for food and decided to try. Here's what we ordered.

Fried Tang Hun
Tasted okay, a bit salty. It says that it is fried but it was quite wet. 

Hainan Coffee Chicken w/Fried rice
Waited half an hour for this, and I gotta say I was disappointed. Expected it to taste balanced with the coffee taste, but it tasted too sweet and the fried rice tasted like rice with the sweet coffee sauce. Would not order this again as this costs RM26 🫠

Will give their menu another try as they have quite a big menu.

New place in Lintas

Although this place is famous for their biang biang mee, I ordered their beef noodles.

The taste is okay, it isn't heavy like I thought it would. And it's not salty, so it will suit people who are trying to eat more healthy.

The beach is clean and their sand is fine. The overall experience there is great.

Also one of the better beaches that I've been to for photography.

There are people there offering horse rides, for a price 😏

On our second day in Penang, we came to this famous breakfast spot.

The eggs and toast that we had were great. They serve toasts of various flavours. The price was also affordable.

Some complaints about the place is that it is too famous, which means that a lot of people go there. Pair that with their limited seats, makes the wait time there very long. Also since the place is on the road side, the environment isn't the best.

A good place for breakfast

We wanted to find somewhere to chill and relax after our lunch and we found this place. Everyone must at least order a drink or ice-cream, but their drinks and desserts are quite good.

Okay, now on to the dogs (I know y'all here to see what dogs they have). They have a Pomeranian, a poodle, a shiba, and several corgies. They also have a racoon that was sleeping so we didn't get to see it.

You can add RM12 to get access to their 2nd floor, and it's called Husky and the Gang. And boy do they have a lot of huskies. The staff will give everyone one handful of dog treats to play with them but they will only come to you willingly if you have treats. There's this one husky there that is super big and he is awesome (Image of the big boi provided).

Anyways, a good place to come relax and hang out with dogs (and a racoon I guess). Would definitely recommend.

Calling all dog lovers!

This was my first day, first place and first meal in Penang. We just settled at our Airbnb and came here for lunch.

This place has everything from fried kuei tiaw to frog leg porridge, and the environment is cool and clean as well!

We ordered different dishes so we could try them. We had fried kuei tiaw, laksa, lor bak, pork noodle soup, and the other one is yam rice.

Great place with a lot of choices

This is a nice and affordable restaurant serving Chinese food. I had their beef noodles this visit and the taste was good.

If you live around this place and can't make up your mind on what to eat, this is a solid choice as they serve a variety of dishes.

This new café is located above Damai burger king. I came here with some of my friends for dinner.

I ordered their aglio olio spaghetti with smoked duck breast, and it was okay. Despite how few pieces of duck breast was shown in the attached photo, there are actually around 10 pieces of meat hidden underneath.

Would come again to try out other choices on their menu!

New café, new experience

This place was recommended to us as a place to eat avocado desserts. But they serve meals and snacks too.

I ordered their aglio olio spaghetti and their mango ABC with ice-cream. I chose this title because their spaghetti actually has wok hei (unusual). Garlic flavour not strong.

Their ABC was good, not too sweet, and their mango pieces were large.

Third day in Sandakan, we came here for breakfast as we went to visit sim-sim water village.

I ordered mee hoon soup with century egg dumplings. While the dumplings were good, the soup was salty. The popular dish here seems to be kon lao mee as there are a lot of people ordering it.

Sim Sim H84

As the title suggests, this place gives a Chinese styled omakase experience. You need a reservation to dine here, and the chef serves what he is cooking, no menus here.

The dishes served on our visit are as listed in the attached images. My favourite dish here is the prawn dish. They are HUGE in size and quite tasty.

Price wise, you can check the average per person of this review, we went as a party of 12.
