Not sure how many times she saved my baby boy but she did! 

I would say the most reasonably charged vet in town. As a cat person herself, she’s very well versed with kitty.

Too perfect. Each and every time. No point trying to make one at home. Just drive there and eat. This kinda of consistency a bit too imba to achieve by doing it yourself. 🤣

Also, one of the most affordable #KopiSusuMahal around town. Love the Brazilian beans they used - super chocolately. 

Remember to dip the kaya toast in the eggs! 😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨 it’s so on point! 👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽

No other pizza better than them

Are they truly the only one in town? Because it’s my to-go to and there seems to be no other choice. 

They served probably the most authentic Gui Ling Gao and lots of variety of cooling Liang Cha. Each Liang Cha is catered for whatever “issue” you might be facing. Read the detailed online menu before ordering - it helps!

Also, please don’t eat their food. It’s not their forte. 

Price increased but no choice!

I first had this in 2013 and it’s so good till today! 

Lady boss, little miss chilli padi, isn’t exactly the friendliest but her food is good! She knows her food! If you’re unsure, just ask. 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽

There isn’t much of “service” here cause mostly self-service. 🤣

I have no complaint to all of her food at all. Each meal was a good and satisfying one. Every dish deserves a clap!

One of the oldest Sichuan in KK

Each time I visit, it’s like waiting to hit the jackpot. (it’s pretty inconsistent. The same food can taste good today and taste not as great the next day. 🤷🏽‍♀️) 

This time: I hit the jackpot. 🎰🤩 

Ordered a pesto pasta and YUMS! Love the taste of every single ingredients in it! It hits you with a note of freshness with each bite thank to the lemon zest and lemon in the basil pesto. 


FYI, the original version doesn’t come with meat. But too hungry. Requested to additional grilled chicken breast to complete the meal. (But please skip the chicken!)

Fresh Pesto Pasta

The first time we had their food was someone dapaoed their Fish Slice cooked in Suan Cai “soup”. It was so so good! About RM58 per big bowl and perfectly appetising. Imagine it like a typical size of Curry Fish Head portion.

And we finally made it to the shop this time and gosh. We got this Mala Pork (can’t remember the exact name of the dish) but damn the broth is amazing! There are also lettuce and thinly sliced potato in it 😍 

Next was this Stir-fried lamb with “chilli”, more like green horn pepper tasting chilli - amazing too! How can the lamb be so tender and fragrant at the same time? 🤩 

White rice - wasn’t cheap white rice. It tasted so good with both of the dishes! 

If you need some neutraliser to the spiciness, I recommend to order some plain stir fried kangkung 🤣 

Blow your mind

The owner and the staffs there are just so friendly! Love the variety of dishes as well. 

My favourite dish: Stir-fried coconut flesh! 

Also, it’s a fixed price for however much you can fit in the plate. You can also opt for Brown Rice instead of White Rice for healthier meal. 

Taste: Close to home-cooked food. Not as oily as Living Seed

Vegetable Mountain

Service Attitude: Could be improved as what they thought was giving us a “disclaimer” just came out really rude to us. 

1. They gave us a list of food they did not have (can you imagine booking the place for 15 pax with at least a week in advance to realise that they didn’t have enough ingredients to cook most of the food on menu)
2. We asked for warm water for the entire table. The waiter said “it’s going to cost RM1 per glass” and we’re like “sure? Why not?”. He replied “we might not have enough glass.” 🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️
3. A rice wrap roll took an hour to arrive without apology.  

Environment: Too cold & poor exhaust ventilation. Always smells like fried food after walking out 

Value: Portion is very huge for the price we’re paying.
