A total surprise. Ordered this on grabfood while on offer. At first look, it was a total disappointment given that I can only see only rice and one chunk of beef. But as I dig further, wowsies, they didn't shy on meat and rice portions at all. The beef was hidden that's all.

I like my rice dry and beef chunky so this totally suits my taste. Am not a sauce person but the yoghurt sauce thingy really complements the dish. Definitely a thumbs up from me.

Cheesy Poppers Pizza - RM38.53 after discount on GrabFood

Pizza hut does wonderful ads which does what it is meant to do. We haven't had their special seasonal pizza for a long time (speaking of decades here) and this one sadly to my opinion wasn't worth its price tag.

The main feature is the cheese ball edges but they were quite hollow. How to cheese pull like your ads lah like that haha. Chicken popcorn was good size okay lah. Was thinking  'Good thing I used grab voucher' while I chomped down the thin crust. Puas lah sudah cuba.

Tomyam Pasta Seafood - RM25

Quiet place in the midst of Kolombong. Great place for a meetup or to work. Easy to find parking even on a weekday lunch hour but remember to scratch your DBKK parking coupon.

Wonderful flavours from the tomyam pasta seafood with a good extra kick of spice I was delighted to find. Should come from packet paste but hey whatever works. Presentation was beautiful. Very satisfied.

Kimbab and tteokpoki - RM17.50 ordered via grabfood including delivery and vouchers

Kimbab was good and rolled nicely and compact. Quite satisfied with it. The tteokpoki, or the sauce to be exact, however doesn't suit our taste. The sauce is quite sweet and watery, not quite to our liking. Will try their other things on their menu next time

The container came slightly opened when the Grab driver handed it to me. I assume it's so that the pancakes won't arrive soggy. Very good portion. Seafood is a decent amount. A bit greasy but hey that's what makes it great!

Chanced upon this bracelet pop-up stall called Pixie's Crystals in ITCC, boy am I lucky cuz they just set up their physical store and will only be around till this weekend.

Great selection of crystals and other gemstone bracelets available among other things. Seller is very friendly and knowledgeable about gemstones. Bought some upon his recommendation. Christmas gifts settled. X payah susah2 pikir lagi hahaha. Quite cheap compared to other places I see and also good quality. Puas sangat 👍🏻

Didn't manage to take photo but also generous portion. Set lunch memang berbaloi, considering the ori price of their food isn't cheap. Thank you for being considerate, Nishiki 🥺🥰 Understandable, price dia mahal tapi berkualiti.

Set Lunch B is more savoury. So if you prefer your food sweet, go for Set Lunch C. Everything's good. Can't go wrong with tempura. But just want to say, kenapalah mau bagi kami the tempura sauce begitu banyak hahaha. Sauce pun generous dia bagi tu 😂

Very generous portion given the price. This set is more on the sweeter end. Sauce semua tu sweet. We also like that Nishiki specify that their "salmon" is actually trout unlike most of the restaurants in KK. Shows that owner/chef truly knows what he's serving 👍🏻


Set Lunch

Nishiki - now in Taman Iramanis, took over the previous Crema Cafe. Take note that it is hard to look for parking during working hours. And janganlah jadi tu asshole yang illegal park at sharp corners. 

Environment is comfortable and top notch. Simple yet beautiful. The place is smaller than the gaya street branch but cozy.

Ordered pistachio, strawberry cheesecake and niko neko matcha. Pistachio has more of a milky taste, would prefer stronger pistachio flavour. But good attempt on the flavour. I don't think it's a common gelato flavour in kk. Strawberry cheesecake was hands down the winner among the three. Would also prefer niko neko matcha to have a stronger matcha taste, but I guess seller has to cater to different people too. Texture wise all was good.

Been seeing a lot of good reviews on the premise. Cozy place to chill though the chairs are a bit painful to sit on if you sit for too long 😂 Ordered a slice of yam cake. Was okay saja cuz I prefer fluffier cakes, this one's a bit coarse on texture. Their cake decoration is pretty though (they have ready made whole cakes for sell)

Homemade fishballs in asam pedas sup with meehoon RM10

My first time trying this stall Ah Ken Asam Pedas located within Kim Fah in Inanam Capital.

The dish memang buka selera cuz with the asam sup. Can't taste the pedas though bro says pedas. The friendly lady said boleh kasitau dia if not pedas enough. But sya gelojoh, siap ada daun sup dgn cili padi terus makan sampai habis. 

Fishball dia a bit on the softer side, I prefer mine more chewier. But apart from that, no complaints at all. We foresee ourselves frequenting this stall often in the future.
