Many menu unavailable, no Spanish Octopus, no smoked duck, no this no that.... the staff said the supplier didn't provide the ingredients, will change new menu soon (It was Sunday night, but only few customers here, the next next door omoz full house)

It would be nice if the operator can put some effort in the menu & coaster. Used menu showing great signs of wear & tear, beer coaster old & dirty...

Happy hour Pina Colada RM 25 nice

Wagyu meatball in spicy tomato sauce RM54: sauce so so, meatball very nice, chewy firm, flavorful

Marinated lamb skewer RM 60: not bad, good portion, will be better if can increase the marination time, allowing the flavor to penetrate more effectively 

Paella RM42 : the best!!!! love the combination of peas, chicken & Seafood, perfectly cooked rice, layered flavor👍👍👍

Good vibe for chilling and bonding

This Hainan Cafe is a branch from the ori cafe established in year 2014 at Kuching, Sarawak by Hainanese sibling. 

Ada aircon, good ID, diverse menu

As a Sarawakian, the signature taro cake & curry gravy taste exactly the same as my hometown memory . 

Taro cake: 1 RM4, 3 RM 10. U can see the taro strips clearly, but it was quite hard to chew, macam fried few times dy. 

Curry gravy: RM 2. Sweet style, very santan, quite thick, not for me. 

Suki chicken rice special: 13.90 Chicken drumstick big size, very tender, smooth, juicy, rice flavourful, gizzard & liver nice, can try try. Ginger sauce available

Gizzard  RM 6: generous portion

Sukeebun 3pcs set meal: Apparently, this is a copy version of the popular Sugarbun rice, as Sugarbun is quite popular in Sarawak (especially the Sarikei branch). The rice ok, chicken fresh, big, well fried, but i still prefer Sugarbun rice & broasted chicken😆

Roti kahwin: RM5 - The bread very nice, ada the ori Oldtown WC punya standard. Butter ok, pandan kaya not sweet & light taste, so butter covered all the taste. 

Hainan kopi C cold RM 5.50: Very very very the nice!!!!!!

Environment actually not bad, cozy, but ada flies coming in 😂

Fewer food selections, dessert ony ice cream, but is good quality Nestle brand 

Ready food: Ony 2 this time-  Braised pork rice & fried Wanton

Pork, lamb, beef, fish, prawn, sotong, shellfish & friends but not crabby available

Non marinated meat slices extremely extremely extremely thin, good for Shabu Shabu.
几盘一起倒下去涮，大口大口吃肉，无需怎么咀嚼，太爽了！！！
Very fast non stop meat meat  refilling 

Grilling paper ony for single usage, the waiter will changes it every round. 

Very good service, the waiter auto come & refilling the broth

Small space

Good dining experience, can eat elegantly, won't lose control and eat till vomit (too full), no sweating, no oily....

Mushroom & tomato soup ok, won't make ur throat & mouth uncomfortable

Conclusion: If u r an adult who aim for hotpot meat slices ony, come here and eat up 100 plates pun boleh. If u aim for variety of raw & cooked food, go to the opposite road.  

Small space, not much ready food, so no recommend to bring kids here, orelse they'll ony keep on telan the ice cream, oso no space for them to release their energy. 



Elegant Hotpot & Grill 

2nd visit at 2pm, this time we ordered the correct food, a satisfying meal & experience. 

RM 16 Salted Vege Soup : Look at the big portion, look at the variety of fresh seafood inside!😮😮😮 Sotong, fish, prawn, SCALLOP!!!! All real meat, not processed food, can serve 4 small bowls. Extremely high CP value!!!! Taste nice, not too salty, good temperature, great combination. 

Watanho Beef: - look at the wok hei, the meat & KT portion, the presentation... great taste, marinated beef, love it. Top 2 in my list now

Hiong Tia Meehoon (less noddles) : less noodles oso so big! Chicken tender, generous meat & vege portion

Lemon Chicken Rice: nice looking & taste, so many meat

Coconut mint: no pure coconut juice ony,  macam bottled coconut + mint. Not bad, but of coz mojito is my favourite

Service extremely nice, but i reserve 1 mark for future, as the pencils for us to fill in the order form  were blunt these 2 times (dun punch me)

Conclusion: 
All big portion
Very delicious
Friendly staffs
Good vibes
Great sambal

10/10 for non lamb Chinese Cuisine

Service: 10000/100, the nice guy super friendly, helpful & attentive, ladyboss/ cashier very friendly too

Environment: Cozy, good ventilation, spacious, good vibe …

Food: The main highlight & surprise for the night is definitely the Chinese style Sambal !!!! Not spicy style, harmonious blend of sweet, savory & little spicy flavours, aromatic fragrance, smooth & slightly oily texture, Excellent! Paired well with any food.

Honey Lamb Rice: Good taste, big portion. With RM 18 only, of coz dun expect to get good grade lamb. But the lamb is really too too fat .

Lamb chop with spaghetti: Cooking skill ok, taste ok juz the lamb quality cannot, u get wat u pay. Anyway, the pasta overcooked, mushy, no al dente.

Ginger floss beef: good, do consume ASAP

Mojito: nice, refreshing, slightly sweet with a tart kick from the lime juice, cooling mint, generous ingredients

Conclusion: I think the non lamb Asian Cuisine  here will be better (coz sambal & lada very nice), can't wait to try the Watanho next time.

Very nice, all cow cow ingredients fresh, QQ, & tender. Broth not bad, not too thick, not spicy at all, santan ratio not low

People mountain people sea during lunch time, but  table turnover rate is high, so dun worry. Can tumpang meja oso bah

Wish that can have free flow coriander in future

Wondering what ventilation system did Yi Jia using? With non stop Tom Yam & curry laksa boiling, the shop still has great ventilation,  with half open air setting, the shop still has cold temperature, wonderful!

Rojak: bland taste kuah, fritters so so so

Fish Curry: the vege combination not attractive, curry kuah nice, layered flavors

Khotu Poratha Mutton: Mutton tender, nice, layered flavors. Unfortunately, i don't eat onion, but every single scoop ada onion 😂

Tauhu Sambal: We went for dinner, the tauhu not fresh dy, dry, sour.....

All no spicy ya

Double smashed patty cheese burger: nice portion, taste ok, i love tat the patty not mushy style. But the patty very heavy beef taste lah. Fries excellent!

Service: Depends on luck, ngam ngam the one serving my table is not ok. She took away my spoon😂 didn't help us to serve the soup, n as u can c, the broken spoon being served

Actually Grandis Hotel's cakes are very nice

RM70-75/ KG with good quality and Atas  beautiful deco, what a wonderful offer, so cheap. 

The sponge base cakes are tall, nice cream, not too sweet, delivery fees also cheap

Love the Nov Lychee Rose Cake, got pink pudding/ jelly layer inside, paired well with the cream & sponge, satisfied (forgot to take pics, in stomach dy)

The coconut cake also nice. 

Tried about 5 cakes dy, all very nice. 

Can considering order bday cake from Gandis next time.

This Foh Chuan punya Chinese name ada 烧腊- roast meat, so their signature should be the roast meat gua, charcoal roasted .....

Sauyuk Watanho- unfortunately, the roasted pork was very very dry, kuey tiaw ok

Hamcoi series: all good, not too salty, mihun good good, kuey tiaw tat day not fresh, putus putus

Signature mee: definitely good

Sasau & chicken: good

RECOMMEND: soup soup series, soup kosong RM8 ada tauhu, tomato, petola, rich taste not cincai soup, awesome! Hamcoi soup: excellent
