Loved the coffee aroma! It was my first time encountering Degayo coffee, and although I could only drink a little due to a caffeine allergy, it was definitely good coffee, good smell. My friend also loved it.

However, the coffee was served in a paper or plastic cup. 

In contrast, the tea was served in La Gourmet Tea & Coffee Miranda Borosilicate Glass Teapot with a matching Tea Cup & Saucer Set, ATAS!

The owner clearly has good artistic taste!

The interior design was beautiful. 

Despite the small space, it felt very cozy with good vibes and warm lighting. 

Located on the 2nd floor of Central Plaza, in the middle, the surrounding area was quite busy and noisy, with different food smells wafting around.

Loved the aura of the staffS – they were all men who were dressed neatly and looked like gentlemen, always with a smile.

Crème Brulee- a delightful surprise! It was very rich with just the right amount of sweetness. Need to share share eat ya

Not too sweet, with a slightly salty taste.
The tart crust is very fragrant and crispy, not crumbly.
The filling is soft, tender, and smooth, just right, and very satisfying.

Really at the corner, 2nd floor,  outside bilik ahu, strategic location for dining experience, quiet, nobody passing by, clean, home feel. 

Self service chili paste, ginger scallion paste, pickled cucumber & chicken base soup

Chilli super nice  (got garlic inside, not 4 me but i do agree from the smell & minor tasting, my chilli friend love it! )

3 rice dishes & Oden only

Braised pork & Chicken Rice: nice,  juz like mom's cook, comfort food. No Wow! Wow! But i feel good

Oden: not cincai broth ya, stronger umami flavor, all ingredients yummy

Look at the tapau container, so considerate, thumbs up

Will revisit for fish skewer, udon &  Gold Bar Pork

Simple Is Better

Creamy beef bacon pizza very nice:  a symphony of savory, smoky, and creamy flavors, with a satisfying textural contrast.

Kaffir lime mojito : refreshing and sweet, with a subtle bitter undertone. It was served with a sugarcane stick (same to other mojito), a nice touch. I didn't detect much rum, so it tasted more like a sparkling juice for me. However , I developed hives tat night 😂😂😂, so I guess it was stronger than I thought!

VIP: Roasted lamb with nasi arab, super duper tender. Love the super fresh texture. Anyway,  lamb rack quie tasteless (that' why sauces available), very very  fatty oso; super tender lamb shank taste like canned lamb. But it's buffet, eat all u can, nevermind lah. 

VIP: Kunafa- surprisingly, not very sweet!!!! But i only took the side side part lah, the middle part might be sweet. Love the aroma & little cheese taste

Satay, beef, lamb varuval , all are quite tough for me

Tried all the drinks at pic 4, all are sweet syrup water mixed with little real fruit. I prefer pineapple peel & cucumber

Food & drink selection actually not so many

Personally, i dun think the food worth  RM168, but if add on with the super duper excellent service & environment, vibes, it does worth RM140-168.

Tried seafood pot & ayam penyet set. Seafood pot very sweet, got fresh fish & prawn, ayam penyet punya sambal is sweet style. Food average taste. 

I love the atas soup & herbal tea (tea quite  bitter 甘苦, mum oways said 苦口良药）

Mushroom soup very nice

Garlic french toast nice (i usually dun eat garlic, but this toast i can accept & telan)

Marinara nice nice, sweet, sour, herbs, not oily, not complex, not burden. Squid tender, prawn deveined

Carbonara : not the ori style with egg yolk ya, but with cream,  nice. Tat day not mussel available. 

overall: nothing surprising, juz like home cook,  but u feel comfort after enjoying the food with friends. 

Have to sit at corridor outside, my fren said inside not available after Covid

MVP- Burnt Yuzu Meringue tart.  From crust to custard, all excellent! Not too sweet. 

Afternoon tea set average taste, but drink is,refillable and can change whenever u want as long as within 3-6pm, so can taste different types of tea. 

JING Tea is a ATAS brand from the UK. Their Earl Grey tea is the best I've ever tasted, with a very rich fragrance.

One funny thing is the RED DRAGON tea. The menu stated tat it will have taste of Ginger, Lychee, Milk Chocolate. But the waiter served me with Earl Grey & Red Dragom fruit plus the 3 ingredients inside, and informed us to mix & drink😂😂😂

Apparently, all of us (we & Hotel staffs) dunno wat is Red Dragon tea. 

1st round- Pure red dragon fruit juice + Earl Grey= Refreshing! 

2nd round- Red dragon fruit + ginger+ lychee+ Hershey Chocolate Syrup- complex flavour, no chocolate taste- no 2nd try. 

Anyway, we have fun with the drink playing session. 

I tried Jade Sword also, but prefer Earl Grey more.

Nice food, fresh, rich & colourful ingredients. Both salad & macaroni taste quite heavy for me, no need salad dressing.  French loaf not crunchy enough. The chilli mac not spicy at all for me, , taste more like bolognese with lemon, good combination. 

Interesting menu 

So far this is the most expensive Vegan/ Vegetarian restaurant i visited, coz the food very special oso.  cp value not high.

One set zipper head is RM 35. I changed 4 (2 luggages), should be RM 140, but he gv me discount, become RM80 (1 set RM20)  . Using atas quality YKK stainless steel zipper oh. Fast service.

Another shop in Penampang quoted me RM 62 for 1 set zipper head🤑🤑.
