Found this gem while withdraw money at maybank Ranau. They are located same row as maybank Ranau, the only hardware shop upstairs. 

Gem place like this need to be recognised. Their cons is the place are located at first floor, so a bit hard to locate unless you are the Local in Ranau. 

The lady boss herself are from Ipoh that’s why the kopitiam name is Ipoh Amoi :) very friendly boss with lotsa passion in foodies. 

I had lobak Penang RM11, lei cha RM12 (big portion) and curry mee RM12 (big portion) all like semenanjung taste more to heavy side 👍 me likey!

Damn good West Msian food in Ranau 

Recommended by a friend to try out their siham curry meehoon cuz I am a big fan of siham. First try and doesn’t upset me! Taste like Penang 😍😍 
My family and I are half Penang-blood. My dad likes their CKT but portion a bit small for RM10 per plate, he rate 8/10

For Siham curry meehoon, I rate 8/10 too due to the portion. 

They have kuehs too but so so only except the santan pulut. 

Overall are good. 
Will drop by again to fix my curry cravings next time!

Passed by here when I visited Watson Damai. 
It is just right beside 2L Bersatu. 

Came here on Sunday, it was quite crowded, but the food served quite fast. 

Food is amazing, especially on the soup based! So good 😋 clear and kaw! Also I requested for extra fried garlics. Saw the opposite table ordered the chicken feet, me & my mom wanted to try! the best decision ever, so good guyssssss~ it is tender and juicy! 

Gonna try the konlaomian on my next cheat day! Look other tables ordered look so nice.

I think I will crave for it once a week 😁

I heard some of my friend’s went there for their beef, So here I am! The beef is so tender together with strong of Chinese spice (八角) very Ngam for the heavy taste bud like me 😂 One big bowl, very generous portion 🫶

Watanhor is undeniable taste good! You may read back my previous review😉😉 



BRAISED BEEF IS GOOD! Not only Watanhor

I have been wanted to try their Hainan roti toast because of the homemade kaya (as describe in the menu) since my last visit for the main dishes. 

I decided to have something light so I ordered their set toast. I am quite typical person when come to soft boiled egg, wah their omega eggs are really good! Not over cooked, or raw, just Ngam Ngam hao ✔️ 

For the toast, I prefer it to be more dark toasted, but it’s ok cuz it’s thick and quite filling ☺️ the homemade kaya spread is not sweet, I likes it! 

And yet, for the drink I always go for the lemonade kosong for sure! 🥵🔥

I love the KAW-ness of the lemonade 🍋 
I always opt for sugarless for sure. 
But if you like it to be sweeten, you can have the Hamoi or the normal Lemonade will do. 

I’ll always craving for the Kahanga egg ❤️
Topping with the crispy papadum with their in house fragrance oil, yumsssss! To me is 10/10

I brought my dad that day to try out the Jackfruit dish, we ate it with pratha on the side instead of rice. The taste just Ngam Ngam hao, taste so good! My dad rate this 8/10 

I also ordered the Hainanese chicken.
Yum yums ❤️❤️  The chicken is tender and juicy, best match with the chilies (I prefer it to be more spicy) 

Soy braised beef is yum yum, so good when you eat it with rice! Savoury and yet No the “beefy” smell. 

Lastly, is the Kerabu, I called this Thailand somtam. Everything bland quite well 🌸 

Insta worthy place where you can take many photos here. Also, with reasonable price with such environment!

LOVE IT! (For heavy tastebud like ME)

I have a lot of good memories with M+W since they operate. From just serving wine, and their signature cake in jar last time, until open for dine in for great food, This is the place where I learn how to drink wine fyi 😛

Managed by one sweet couple, they treated us like friend. That’s why makan in M+W is always feels like home 🏡 

I’d say, They serve the BEST beef in town. Always recommend my friend to try their beef, sometimes they have different type of beef. Oh ya, the lamb ribs is great too! I ordered medium lamb rib, don’t have the “lamb” taste guys! I should order it medium rare instead🫢 

Their main dish and small plates are all GOOD. U guys must try the tuna, cuttlefish and babi pork belly, sometimes if you are lucky, you will have white clam cooked with white wine 👍 

They are serving until 28/5 this month

It’s quite crowded during lunch hour, a bit hard to find parking 

Been heard good reviews about the watanhor. 
I ordered beef + pork watanhor. Taste so good ❤️ Wuah, The beef is tender, watanhor got the wok hei, fried to the perfection in delicious silky rich eggs gravy, yumsssss! Their homemade chili also damn good thou! This is above my expectation 😋 I almost licked the plate, as you can see, empty plate mission again 🤪

Environment - open air with good kitchen ventilation, a bit hot 🥵 staff is quite attentive! 

Add point for the kopi beng; quite kaw! 

P/S: Remember the uncle’s back. 
My friend said come around 12pm+ if got the boss there, he cooks better she said 😂 but he only cook for 1-2hours.

Love their noodles all the time! 

The one I always order is Dao Ma Cie (DMC) the soup base really good, the taste just right ✔️ 
Also I will order the curry taufupok for sure! Highly recommended to try this 

My parents are team spring noodle! 
They prefer dry noodle most of the time, I am the one who always will go for the soupy one. Very cukup ingredients they give, and portion quite big. 

Environment is open air 
Sometimes very guk cuz the weather is very hot 🥵 Staff is very attentive even though they are very busy most of the time. 

All time fav noodles (for me) 🍜 

It’s located just opposite Sunlight Gaya Street, beside Oyo Hotel.

The renovation of the shop is good, fully aircon but got flies 🪰 inside, so be careful of your food or drink. They have varieties of food to choose in the menu. I guess it was understaff, only 1 lady taking order and another 1 is the barista. 

Came here during lunch peak hours, it’s crowded. Ordered curry meehoon (recommended by the waitress) and my friend ordered roasted pork & chicken rice. 

The curry meehoon with roasted pork & casao look legit, but once I tasted one sip, sigh overshots of Santan milk & dont have the curry fragrance (you know those with curry leaves taste) hmm Its taste like curry paste  + lots of coconut milk only 😞😞 It’s over kaw which I wasted the whole bowl of soup. The sao nyuk & casao are too fat & oily, all the fats in my mouth. end up I only manage to finish half of the meehoon and vegetable only. 

Roasted pork and chicken rice? hmmm my friend said not nice. Not crispy and it’s dry. I didn’t manage to capture it 😅.

Come here to collect the cake then my mom saw the burnt cheese cake inside the cooler 😂 
My mom wanted to try so we sat down and try. The cheese so kaw, and so smooth, plus not sweet 🤤 RM13 per piece, not expensive! 
My mom is a big fan of cheese cake, she approved! It’s been almost a week now and my mom still miss their cheese cake ask me go dabao if I got passed by Damai  🤣 

My bff loves it! As the blueberry bland well with the lemon, wowww, a little bit sweet and sour, she is a big fan of coastal club cake, and also her first try! She approved! 

Staff are really attentive. Placed my order via WhatsApp and collect straight away after done payment. Comes with their customised cake box that I feels sayang if I throw away. 

Will come again next time to try their coffee 😇 
They have varieties of cakes I believe it really taste good!

Overall is good experience. 

Together with my friends, 3 of us, and we ate total RM54 including 1 dabao for 4 dishes. 
I’m not sure how much it cost for this. But should be cheap for 4 dishes 😙
