Not many of us are familiar with nasi kukus!
To cook the rice itself they have a special technique
They first pack the grain individually in a bowl then panda leaf is added together (some shop do add more spice) then they steam(kukus) it individually so that you get the maximum flavour from it.

Let’s talk about the food
With limited choices of menu to choose, either you take nasi lemak or nasi kukus. Or some noodle choices ( will try them other time)

Nasi kukus
deep fried chicken were very flavorful, even though it is dry for me, but it is perfect with the rice. The rempah they use to marinate the chicken, will last in your mouth for hour. The kuah (sauce) they pour on the rice is heaven. (Remind me of nasi beratur from west malaysia)

Nasi lemak
Like all nasi lemak but you can choose to add on condiment like fried fish, chicken or egg and vegetables. The sambal chili is spicy and it come with kicks.
This place is a must eat when you’re in Putatan
