About this place

Here are some reviews of Kah Hiong Ngiu Chap (Kolam Centre) in Kota Kinabalu: Review 1: The reviewer had packed their breakfast from a hotel, specifically beef noodle soup, which they found to be tasty. They were surprised to find that it included white radish, which they also enjoyed. The restaurant had good ventilation and outdoor seating options. Overall, the reviewer thought it was worth visiting for their beef noodles. Review 2: The reviewer enjoys the unique taste of the bee hoon (a type of noodle) at this restaurant, comparing it to tung fen (a type of noodle dish). They also mention that the soup and braised beef are good, and that ordering the dish with dry sauce will give you an extra sweet sauce. Review 3: This review is overwhelmingly positive, highlighting the delicious taste of the beef soup at a restaurant. The reviewer uses language such as 'superb,' 'never had such a delicious meal,' and 'prefect' to emphasize their enjoyment. They also mention that there are plenty of parts to choose from and noodles in front of them, further indicating their satisfaction with their dining experience. Review 4: This review recommends the restaurant for its good beef noodles, lack of wait during a busy time (2 PM), reasonable prices, and quick service. Review 5: The reviewer tried Ngiu Chap for the first time and compared it to beef noodles in Singapore. They praised the soup broth as being extremely tasty and the meat as being tender. Review 6: A person is expressing disappointment or frustration with something being excessively salty. Review 7: This reviewer enjoyed their beef dishes at a coffee shop, but were disappointed by the noise level due to the dim sum restaurant next door. They would have given 5 stars if it weren't for the noise issue. Review 8

First Timer Konlou Style

First time eating in store after more than a decade. Noodles are tangy, usual konlo style. Soup was flavourful with chunks of radish yum yum. Mind if you're consuming chinese traditional medicine, perhaps you'll have to think twice. Trad meds + Radish is a no-no. Gonna try their meehoon soup version on my next visit.
