I got the Malay chicken rice and man, it was a big portion! The chicken had a sweet taste to it and it was pretty damn good.

Then there's the gorgeous pandan coconut cake. The cake was so soft and when you add the fried coconut shreds and the coconut sauce, it's just a party in your mouth. Highly recommend!

They also had this limited edition red wine ice cream, only available during Christmas. It had grape, cinnamon, and yellow peach flavors and vanilla ice cream. And when you add the warm red wine on top, it's a whole new level of taste. Cinnamon and red wine are just the perfect match for Christmas!

Had a wonderful sunday buffet at Kitchen8 of Marriott hotel. The buffet spread is quite diverse despite the price offered. They offered choices of :-

✅️selection of sautéed veges, chicken, beef & seafood,
✅️baos & dimsum
✅️noodle station
✅️roasted chicken /duck station
✅️dessert spread
✅️coffee & other beverage station
✅️seafood stir-fry counter

Overall the spread is very well curated, spices are on point especially the seafood stir fry counter - you get to choose from sweet & sour (most recommended), mongolian sauce or chilli crab sauce with your choice of seafood. All seafood are freshly picked and so juicy 😋😋😋😋. They also offer freshly prepped teh tarik at your table as per requested (yums as well).

Kids get to enjoy activities such as cookie baking which are offered on rotation. The crews are very attentive and adequately staffed you don't have to call so many times for assistance. They also offer to send your drinks or order to your table so you don't have to wait up at the buffet line😁👍The view from the outside deck is also not to be missed (very nice for ootds).

Adults are charged MYR98 perperson and children 6-12y.o. at MYR49. Also it's best to reserve a table prior to the date since a lot of their afternoon functions dine at the same place. Go try while the prices are still in offer😊

Their food just average but the fried rice very nice in texture and taste.. The service and view here is 100%..thumbs up for the staff friendly service.. Good job!!

It’s almost time of the month for those who are fasting next month! Ramadan season is almost here so I think they are promoting new flavour such as coconut pandan cake.
This is a coconut pandan cake, duh😅
It is a 1.5KG+-, RM76.
Taste: it’s sweet, chiffon is moist, the outer layered can taste a little bit of matcha towards the sweetness taste. It’s all balance when you eat the whole slice of cake. To me overall it’s ok, for those who love eating dessert that is extra sweet, this is suitable for you 😇
