Reasonable price & tasty food.
Open by korean family. Service might be slow as they din hired any outsider for help.

Rm20 for tofu soup & kimchi soup...too cheap to be true and too tasty to be 1 pot only

No-regret Bimbimbap, Citymall

Passed by few times (shop located same row with Borneo Noodle House) and finally decided to try it one day, no regret.

1) Bimbimbap (No meat) (RM20)
- Appetizing and colouful combination of vegetables, seaweed, kimchi, egg yolk and steamed white rice 😍 The sesame oil and Gochujang sauce give extra credit to the dish too. Ask for separate sauce if worry it’s too salty. By far the best Bimbimbap I have tried in KK. You can try Dolsot (Sizzling stonepot) Bimbimbap if you prefer with-meat option.

2) Tofu soup (RM20)
- Hot and spicy soup, the owner told me that they have their own recipe for the soup. For me it’s a bit salty, goes really well with rice.

3) Dopbap pork (RM15)
- Mouth-watering sliced pork with strong garlic taste, perfect match with kimchi and rice 😝 The portion is smaller compared to Bimbimbap.

4) Korean steam dumpling (pork) (RM15)
- Unlike Chinese dumpling, the wrapping style look more like soup dumpling (Xiao Long Bao) but not as juicy. The taste is a bit too bland for me, not really my liking.

5) Pear Juice (RM5)
- Musy try! I order everytime I visit.

Would like to try their Jajangmyeon, BBQ pork and Roast Chicken (the shop owner always introduce me their roast chicken πŸ€”) next time.

Attentive owner, really good service.

No air-con environment, will be hot if going during lunch hour.

No service charge and SST πŸ‘πŸ»

Best Jajangmyeon in KK

More on Instagram: absolutefoodly 🫢

This new Korean restaurant located in City Mall, KK is such a hidden gem! πŸ‡°πŸ‡·

🍜 Jajangmyeon RM15
So GOOD. Taste authentic. Savoury and mildly sweet. Noodles have a nice bouncy, and slightly chewy texture 🀀❀️

πŸ₯˜ Tofu Soup RM20
Not as thick and heavy as typical stews. Has a deep umami flavour. I could finish a bowl of rice with this! 🍚

🐽 Dopbap Pork RM15
Smells good. Pork has a strong garlicky bbq/β€œwok hay” taste. Goes really well with the fried kimchi and sliced roasted seaweed πŸ˜‹ The complimentary sauce on the side looks spicy but it’s quite friendly to non-spicy eaters 🫢

🍡 Iced Korean Tea (Small Jug) RM5
Maintains a strong tea smell taste. It’s not very diluted like other Korean restaurants here.

Would defo revisit for their Jajangmyeon and try out the BBQ pork!! Not to mention, their service was superb πŸ’―

Handmade Korean Pork Dumplings πŸ₯Ÿ

Newly opened Korean cuisine restaurant at City Mall, located just beside Celyn Hotel (previous shop was Monica beauty salon).

I ordered Dopbab (bbq pork, kimchi, seaweed with steamed white rice & welsh onion soup MYR15 and 7 pieces of handmade Korean Pork dumplings (MYR10).

The staff was recommended cold pumpkin (MYR2.50) & black soy milk (MYR2.50) made by their boss lady. Anyhow, the drinks are salty.

The owner is attentive, he keen on asking customer's for feedback & explained to customers where's the cutleries, cup, water & etc.

I love the puffy & sticky steamed white rice match with the sour spicy kimchi, thin slices bbq pork & fragrance seaweed. Rice is life!

The owner told me they used filter water to cook the dumplings thus it's more delicious & no chemical taste like from tap water.

The dumplings took approximately 10 minutes to cooked. It were served on a piece of cloth at a sizzling plate to keep it warm & chilli soy sauce.

The dumplings wrapping style are thin, delicate & unusual. The pork are mushy, it was marinated however I wish the taste could be more savoury.

Dishes are all served in convenient packaging. If customer couldn't finish their meals, they can just take it away.

Currently, they only accept cash & fund transfer for payment. Checkout my ig:_humanburrito.bki for pictures & daily videos.
